Carl A. Clouser, Sr.

PERRY COUNTY – Carl A. Clouser, Sr., 76, of Perry County, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore. He was the husband of the late Patricia M. (Wertz) Clouser.

Carl was born August 29, 1942 in York and was the son of the late Cuyler and Violet (Frey) Clouser.

He worked for Conrail and the PA Railroad Company for over 31 years retiring in 1991. Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Carl is survived by three sons, Carl Clouser, Jr. of York Haven, John Clouser of Etters, and Robert Clouser of Neeses, SC; his three daughters, Beth Micheals of Etters, Dianna Goodling of York Haven, and Tammy Ware of Overland Park, KS; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his five brothers and two sisters.

Services and Burial for Carl will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.

  1. My sympathy to the family of “Skip”. Skip was our neighbor and my classmate at Northeastern High. Last time I saw him was some years ago at a class reunion. Skip was always friendly.
