James W. Lenz, Sr.,

MOUNT WOLF – James W. Lenz, Sr., 81 of Mount Wolf, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home in Mount Wolf. He was the husband of Pauline F. (Hoover) Lenz.

James was born October 8, 1938 in York and was the son of the late Theadore and Mary (Wiles) Lenz.

He was a former truck driver and a member of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf and also Starview United Methodist Church in (Starview), Mount Wolf. James proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his sons, James W. Lenz, Sr. and his wife, Dawn of York, John Lenz and his companion Kellie McJunkins of Manchester, Pearson Lenz of York; Jerry Keller and his wife Peggy of York, and Gene Keller and his companion Cheryl Myers of Manchester; 2 grandchildren, Luke Keller and Abbie Elways and her husband Chris. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Lenz.

Services and burial for James will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
