AUSTIN – Lucas E. Toomey, 51, of Austin, PA passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at his home in Potter County.

Lucas was born December 13, 1968, in York and was the son of Kathy (Ahrens) Toomey of Manchester and the late Luther B. Toomey, Jr.

He graduated in 1987, from Northeastern High School in Manchester. He was the owner and operator of the Tannery Inn in Austin. Lucas was a member of different hunting clubs in Potter County.

In addition to his mother, Kathy, Lucas is survived by his brother Shawn Toomey and his wife Dana of Manchester; his nieces and nephews, Anna, Nathan, Emma and Addy and his great nephew Waylen Luke.

A service of celebration for Lucas will be announced in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.

  2. Lucas, May you Rest In Peace. You, as was your father, a remarkable and knowledgeable man that wasn’t afraid to pursue his dreams. You have made many friends and you will be remembered as a GREAT friend by many. You can now be a deputy of Trooper Luke, LOVE YOU!!

Lucas your Brother here I just want you to know I’m glad you are not suffering anymore your health was failing you far more then people knew a lot of them didn’t even know you were having trouble now you are resting I sure hope you are hugging dad tight right now and I will be sure to take care of mom it’s been rough but you know me I’m pretty damn strong and I’ll take care of what I have to
