Richard B. Conway

YORK – Richard Bruce Conway, 60, of York, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at his home.

Rich was born January 29, 1957 in York and was the son of the late Richard and Rena (Landis) Conway.

In 1975 he graduated from Northeastern High School in Manchester. He was employed as a Utilization Review Coordinator with the GateHouse in Mountville. He was previously employed by, York Daily Record, Colonial House and the PA Welfare Office.

Rich is survived by his three loving sisters, Linda McClain and her husband Bill of York, Jane Wood and her husband John of York, Vicki Hersey and her husband David of Wellsville, and he was the loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Richard will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf. Burial for Richard will be private.

  1. Rich had such a kind soul and passion for helping others. When I see someone who he worked hard to get extra time for in treatment, find freedom and recovery from active addiction, I will always see Rich and the legacy he leaves behind. I find peace in thinking that Rich’s life touched the lives of many others who will pay forward his kindness with helping the next person who needs it. Rich you will be truly missed. My condolences to his family.
