Ronald E. Snelbaker

MANCHESTER – Ronald E. Snelbaker, 67, of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of Debroah (Lam) Snelbaker.

Ronald was born August 18, 1950, in West York and was the son of the late Kenneth and Esther (Hummel) Snelbaker and the step-son of Ruth Snelbaker of Manchester.

In 1968 he graduated from Northeastern High School in Manchester. He was employed as a plumber and pipe fitter with the Local #520 and most recently worked for G. R. Sponaugle. He was a member of the York Sportsmen Club; Northern York County Fish and Game; Local #520 and the Family Worship Center in West York. Ronald enjoyed sharing his talents as a trumpet player with his church at the Family Worship Center.

In addition to his wife, Deborah, Ronald is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Snelbaker-Greene and her husband John William Greene, III of Abbotstown, PA., and Michele K. Ritz and her husband Michael S. Ritz of Riverview, FL; 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; his brother, Jeffrey Snelbaker of York and his two sisters, Barbara Hughes and Joan Smith both of Gardners, PA.

Ronald’s viewings will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2018, and Monday, June 4, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 AM both at the Family Worship Center, 150 North Sumner Street in West York. His funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be his pastor The Reverend Andrew Williams.
