Donald E. McCann
MANCHESTER - Donald E. McCann, 76, of Manchester passed away at 3:10 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Manor Care North, He was the husband of the late Darlene A. (Fogal) who passed away on March 19, 2008.
Donald was born February 23, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA and was the son of the late Hugh and Leola (Fillman) McCann.
He graduated from Altoona High School in Altoona. He worked for Caterpillar for over 24 years before retiring in 1998 He was a member of the Shiloh American Legion and Vikings Club in West York.
Donald is survived by a son, Kelly McCann and his wife Lisa of East Prospect, three daughters, Candy Chambers & her husband Larry of Hanover, Wendy Wagner and her husband Kenneth of York, Cherri Treese and her husband John of Altoona and four grandchildren. Mr. McCann was preceded in death by a daughter Tawny McCann and a brother, Gary McCann.
Services and burial for Donald will be private. Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
