Donna L. Duncker
MANCHESTER – Donna L. (Dennis) Duncker, 81, of Manchester, PA., passed away, Monday, April 8, 2024, at her home in Manchester, PA. She was the wife of Barry L. Duncker whom she would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on May 14.
Mrs. Duncker was born October 8, 1942, in York County and was the daughter of the late Claude and Helen (Kunkle) Dennis.
She graduated in 1960 from Northeastern High School in Manchester, PA. Prior to graduating from high school, she graduated from Empire Beauty School in York and received her license as a beautician. She was employed by Andersons Tropical Treat in Manchester and her parents’ business, Dennis’s Grocery Store in Mount Wolf. She retired after 37 years with Naylor Candies in Mount Wolf. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf where she served on the Altar Guild, Church Council and volunteered for various committees at the church. Mrs. Duncker enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband and friends, going to the beach and most importantly her love for her husband and family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Duncker is survived by her son, Gregg Duncker and his wife Kathy of Mount Wolf; her daughter, Tracey S. Neff and her husband Tracy of York; three grandchildren, Steven, Paige, Logan and four great grandchildren, Elliot, Evelyn, Collin, and Tevin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Dennis.
A celebration of life memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 28 Third Street, Mount Wolf. Her visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the church. Her burial will be private in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be her pastor, Reverend Jason Northridge. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
