Enslie L. Clark
DOVER – Enslie L. Clark, 73, of Dover, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. He was the husband of Joan (Yost) Clark who he married 50 years ago on September 2, 1972.
Mr. Clark was born July 18, 1949, in Houlton, Maine and was the son of the late Albert and Rena (Nason) Clark.
He graduated from Houlton High School in Houlton, Maine and later graduated from Mt. Echo Bible Institute. He Pastored at Belgrade Bible Church in Belgrade, Maine, Parishville Baptist Church in Parishville, New York and taught at Mt. Echo Bible Institute. He was employed by York Graphic for 33 years before retiring in 20. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in York where he was a former Deacon. Mr. Clark proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Joan, Mr. Clark is survived by his sons, Paul Clark of Germantown, MD, and Andrew Clark and his wife Rebecca of York; his daughter, Rachel Pawlowski and her husband Mike of Telford, PA; 13 grandchildren; his brothers, Dale, Gerald, Ervin, and Daniel and his sisters, Bonnie Squire, Pauline Varney, Darlene Chesley, Judy Lawson and Cola Larlee. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittney, and his brother, Melvin.
His funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave., York, PA. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, Reverend Greg Wahlberg. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will provide full military honors at the graveside service.
