YORK - Barbara A. Schuman, 45, of York, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey. She was the wife of Chad M. Brodbeck whom she married September 22, 2018. Barbara was born April 25, 1973, in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Bud and Margaret (Dailey) Schuman. She was employed at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey as a Registered Nurse. In addition to her husband, Chad, Barbara is survived by her three sons, Rodney Walls of Columbia, PA., Martin Walls of Baltimore, MD, Conner Walls of Baltimore, MD; her step-daughter, Madalynn Brodbeck of York; her grandson, Wyatt Walls; her sister, Jean Ann Freels of Perry Hall, MD, and her three brothers, Vince Schuman of Hazelton, PA, Richard Schuman of Hedgesville, WV, and Robert Schuman of Merchantville, NJ. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2018 at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. Visitation will begin at 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be The Reverend Philip K. Nace.
