Earl E. Caswell, III

MANCHESTER – Earl E. Caswell, III, 78, of Manchester, passed away, Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the Gardens of Westshore.  He was the husband of Carole A. (Fahnestock) Caswell.

Earl was born July 29, 1944, in Haverford, PA and was the son of the late Earl E. Caswell, Jr and the late Mary (McGowan) Caswell.

He graduated from Haverford High School in Montgomery County, PA.  Following his graduation from high school, Earl continued his education by graduating from West Chester University in West Chester, PA and University of Southern Mississippi.  Earl retired July 7, 2001, after 35 years of teaching with Southern York County School District in Glen Rock, PA.

In addition to his wife, Carole, Earl is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Caswell; his son, Earl "Chip" Caswell, IV; three grandchildren, Patrick, Conner, and Catherine and his brother, William Caswell.

A celebration of life service will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Starview United Church, 4832 North Sherman Street Extended, Mount Wolf.  Burial will be private.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Laura Bair Baker.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Starview United Church of Christ, 4832 North Sherman Street Ext., Mount Wolf, PA 17347 or to the Alzheimer's Association.
