Gregory C. Krout

MOUNT WOLF – Gregory C. Krout, 73, of Mount Wolf, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home.  He was the husband of Constance N (Kuntz) Krout who he married 53 years ago on October 21, 1967.

Greg was born March 29, 1947 in York and was the son of the late Gloria E. (Blouse) Krout and the late Robert Krout.

In 1965 he graduated from William Penn High School in York and in 1967 from Penn State York.  He was employed by Borg Warner, York International and Johnson Controls for 39 years before retiring in 2006 as an engineer.  He was a member of the 25 year club of York International and Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.  Greg was an avid golfer.

In addition to his wife, Constance, Greg is survived by his son, Bradley Krout of York; his daughter, Stephanie Krout of York and his sister, Sandra Harlow of Windsor.

A Celebration of Life service for Greg will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitatioin will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.  Officiating at his service will be his pastor Reverend Mark Zortman.
