YORK - Julia M. (Frey) Gross, 89, of York, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Normandie Ridge Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Frederick G. Gross. Julia was born February 1, 1929 in Mount Wolf and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Knaub) Frey. In 1947 she graduated from William Penn Senior High School in York. She was a member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church in East York. Julia is survived by her two sons, Tyler F. Gross and his wife Tracy of Spring Grove, and Rob L. Gross and his wife Connie of York, and her two grandchildren, Amber Lauren and Adam Tyler. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister. A graveside service will begin at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Officiating at the service will be The Reverend Philip K. Nace. Those planning to attend the service should meet at the entrance of the cemetery no later then 10:15 AM Tuesday.
