Linda S. Carlisle

YORK HAVEN – Linda S. (Roedts) Carlisle, 73, of York Haven, passed away, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at York Hospital in York.  She was the wife of Millard Carlisle whom she married 54 years ago on October 14, 1967.

Linda was born April 7, 1948, in Fort Kilmer, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late George and Beulah (Hoy) Roedts.

She graduated in 1966, from Cedar Cliff High School in New Cumberland, PA and later from the nursing program at York Vo-Tech in York.  She was employed as a nurse with Messiah Village for over 20 years before retiring in 2012.  She was a 4-H Parent and Leader with Wellsville Boots and Saddles 4-H Club.  Linda was an avid ATV enthusiast and enjoyed her home away from home in Potter County, PA.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her daughter, Tiffanie Falkenstein and her husband Patrick of York Haven; her son, John Carlisle, II and his wife, Melissa of York; 3 grandchildren, Peyton, Andrew and Natalie; her sisters, Lana Lewman of Newtown, PA and Deb Brooke of Indiana and numerous loving nieces and nephews.  Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Roedts

A service of celebration will begin at 6:30 PM, Friday, November 5, 2021, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
