Lucy V. Glatfelter

YORK – Lucy V. (Bupp) Glatfelter, 98, of York, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Hanover Hall in Hanover, PA.  She was the wife of the late Ammon F. Glatfelter who passed away March 6, 2014.

Mrs. Glatfelter was born April 29, 1925, in York and was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Carolina (Sweitzer) Bupp.

She was a member of Windy Hill Senior Center in Spring Grove, PA, and St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in York New Salem.

Mrs. Glatfelter is survived by her daughter, Connie Snyder and her husband David of York and her son Ricky Glatfelter and his wife Shirley of York; four grandchildren, Denise, Christina, Marc, and Tisha, and four great grandchildren, Dominick, Xzavier, Chase, and Carson.

Her funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM, Friday, April 19, 2024, at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church, 99 East George Street, York New Salem, PA.  Her viewing will be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Friday at the church.  Her burial will be in St. Jacobs Union Cemetery.  Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Lisa Hair.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
