Michael P. Sigler

YORK – Michael P. Sigler, 45, of York, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at his home with his family by his side.  He was the husband of Terri (Johnson) Sigler who he married 10 years ago on October 8, 2011.

Michael was born June 24, 1976, in York and was the son of Arthur and Sharon (Flory) Sigler of York.

He graduated in 1994 from York Vo-Tech and then graduate from Pennsylvania School of Technology in 1997.  He was employed for 20 years by Voith Hydro in York as Manager of Field Tooling.   He was the Sheep Superintendent at the York Fair and a supporter of 4-H.  He was an active member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.  He was also a member of the Hawk's club.   He enjoyed mentoring youth, working on the farm and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Michael is survived by his son, Leo, his daughters, Rya and Zoe; his sister Sherry Sigler-Smith and husband, Shannon of Dover; his brother, Kevin Sigler and wife, Renae of York; nephew, Dustin and niece, Katelyn. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry P. Sigler and Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Flory.  He was also preceded in death by his triplets Naomi, Trent, Juanita who died June 7, 2013.

Michael's funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Otterbein United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Mark Zortman.

Michael's motto was "God's got this!"

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund, Sigler Kids Trust Fund, 2201 N. Beaver St., York, Pa 17404, to help his children with their future endeavors.
