YORK - Peggy L. (Stover) Becker, 75, of York, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Becker who passed away on October 11, 1987. Peggy was born January 2, 1943 in Rebersburg, PA and was the daughter of the late Nile and Sarah (Diehl) Stover. She graduated from Penns Valley High School in Centre Hall, PA and later graduated from Beauty School. She was a self employed Beautician. Later she was employed by USA Direct in York, PA. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna Fire Company in York Haven, PA. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Kellie McJunkins of Mount Wolf, PA, and Mary Beth Billet of York Haven, PA; 4 grandchildren, Darshan, Rachel, Lauren and Ann Marie, and two sisters, Shirley Burrell of TX, and Sandra Turzak of CA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Bowersox and two brothers, David Stover and Donald Stover. Her funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 5, 2018 at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be The Reverend Philip K. Nace.
