YORK - Robert H. Dietz, Jr., 79, of York, passed away at 10:10 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Manor Care North. Robert was born August 14, 1938 in Mount Wolf and was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Pauline (Hively) Dietz. In 1956 he graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester and graduated from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown with a Bachelors of Arts Degree. During his career, he was employed by L. B. Smith Ford in Lemoyne and United Parcel Service. He was a veteran from the United States Air Force where he played in the Air Force Band. He was also a member of Troop #31 in Mount Wolf and an Eagle Scout. Robert is survived by his son, Scott Dietz of Mechanicsburg, PA; his daughter, Kimberly Randolph of Cary, NC; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Clayton, and his brother, David Dietz of New Cumberland. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Dietz. Services and burial for Robert will be private.
