Robin M. Billet

WRIGHTSVILLE – Robin Marie (Hayes) Billet, 63, of Wrightsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022, at York Hospital.  She was the wife of Gregory P. Billet who she met at a Foghat concert in 1976.

Robin was born November 15, 1958, in York and was the daughter of Gladys (Smith) Hayes of York and the late Paul Hayes.

She graduated in 1976 from York Vo-Tech and she worked, reluctantly, at Bell Sports in Emigsville for 34 years.  She spent the last 7 years happily working alongside her husband at OPSEC Security in Lancaster.

In addition to her husband, Robin is survived by her son Gregory K. P. Billet of Hanover; A cat named Buster Beans; her sisters, Nancy Huyett of York, Kathy Gardner of York and Karen Warner of Wrightsville and her brothers, Kevin Hayes and Paul Hayes both of York.

A celebration of life service for Robin will be held at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022.   Officiating at her service will be her friend, Pastor Joseph Lopez.  At 2:00 PM, we'll be eating, drinking and dancing to her memory at Eagle Fire Company also in Mount Wolf.  All friends and family are welcome.
