Sonja F. Wilt

DOVER – Sonja F. (Shorts) Wilt, 80, of Dover, passed away, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home in Dover.  She is the wife of Charles F. Wilt who she married 62 years ago on March 21, 1959.

Mrs. Wilt was born June 10, 1940 in York and was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Repman) Shorts.

She worked for Tighe Industries in York as a seamstress.  Most of all, Sonja will be remembered by her family for being a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Charles, Sonja is survived by her daughters, Shana Patton and her husband Doug of Manchester, Victoria Beaulieu and her husband Ricky of Maine and Tina Ort and her husband Ronnie of Dover; 10 grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Wilt, her sister, Joann Frye and her brother, John Shorts.

Services and burial for Mrs. Wilt will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
