Thomas E. Green

MANCHESTER – Thomas Eugene Green, 71, of Manchester passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home.  He was the husband of Roxy (Bender) Green whom he married 52 years ago.

Thomas was born March 13, 1949 in York and was the son of the late Vernon and Carrie (Einsig) Green.

He graduated in 1967 from William Penn High School in York.  He was a construction Manager for Kinsley Construction for 33 years.  He was a former Fire Chief and member of the Strinestown Fire Company, Soccer Coach for NEYSA, Assistant Girls Soccer Coach for Northeastern High School and a member of Quickels Evangelical Lutheran Church, York.

In addition to his wife, Roxy, Thomas is survived by his son, T. J. Green and his wife Shianne of Greensboro, NC; his daughters, Kate Roof and her husband Tim of Mount Wolf, Chrissy Zimmerman and her husband Gene of Manchester ; 8 grandchildren, Raven,  Phoenix, Cody, Hunter, Abby, Peyton, Chloe and Miranda; niece, Tammy; nephew Troy; his sister, Connie Rouscher and her husband Butch and his faithful companion Jingles.

At the request of Thomas there will be no services.
