W. Herbert Beshore

MOUNT WOLF – W. Herbert Beshore, 92, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Providence Place in Dover.  He was the husband of Delores (Murphy) Beshore whom he married 71 years ago on September 16, 1950.

Mr. Beshore was born April 16, 1929, in Manchester and was the son of the late Cecil Beshore, Sr. and Evelyn (Miller) Beshore.

He graduated in 1948 from Manchester High School in Manchester.  He retired in 1991 after 24 years of service with Carl Beasley Ford.  Previously he was employed by Beshore and Koller Ford, Inc., in Manchester and York Lincoln Mercury in York.  He was a member of the Parts and Service Club of York and Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.

In addition to his wife, Delores, Mr. Beshore is survived by his son, Timothy Beshore and his wife Kim of Manchester; his daughters, Deborah Hoover and her husband Barry, Beverly Gross and her husband Craig and Michelle Stoner and her husband Brian all of Dover; 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Beshore, Jr. and his sisters, Ethelyn Licklider and Lorretta Gundy.

A celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be Private.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Mark Zortman.
