YORK – Andrew W. Hamilton, Jr., 81, of York, passed away, Monday, February 13, 2023, at his home in York.  He was the husband of the late LeNora W. (Wright) Hamilton who passed away January 15, 2016.

Andrew was born February 22, 1941, in Upper Darby, PA and was the son of the late Andrew W. Hamilton, Sr., and Eleanor (Van Sant) (Hamilton) Schatz.

He graduated in 1959 from Upper Merion High School in King of Prussia, PA and later from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  He was employed as a Trust Officer in the banking industry.   Andrew proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Andrew is survived by his son, Andrew “Andy” W. Hamilton, III, and his wife, Amy of York; two grandchildren, Jace and Abby; his brother, Russell Hamilton and his wife, June of Wayne, PA, and his nephew, Steven.

A private family burial service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
