Anna Bowers Obituary

Anna Bowers, 87, of Rockwell, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Piedmont Health & Rehab in Salisbury, NC.

She was born March 20, 1938, in York County, PA to the late Henry and Esther Raffensburger.

Anna was a Homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, camping. She was a big Elvis Presley fan. She also enjoyed going to the airport and watching planes take off and land with her son Randy, who was also her caregiver.

She was a member of Samaritan's Baptist Church in Salisbury.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her Husband, Stewart Bowers and by her brother, Larry Raffensburger.

Anna is survived by her Two Sons, Blane A (Cindy) Bowers, Randy Bowers; Sister-in-Law, Mary Raffensburger; Brother, Philip (Nancy) Raffensburger and also by 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Anna will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 700 North George Street, York, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
