Anna Mae Naylor
MOUNT WOLF – Anna Mae (Brenner) Naylor, 97, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Misericordia Convalescent Home in York. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Naylor who passed away January 5, 2010.
Mrs. Naylor was born July 31, 1924, in Dover and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Jemima (Quickel) Brenner. She was raised on Bear’s Fruit Farm in East Manchester Township by her aunt and Uncle.
She graduated in 1942 from Manchester High School in Manchester and furthered her education by attending secretarial school. She was employed by York Safe and Lock in York, Katherine Beecher Candies in Manchester and was co-owner of Naylor Candies in Mount Wolf and a co-owner of Forge Hills Orchards in Mount Wolf. She was a member of Group #1 Society of Farm Women of PA, enjoyed playing cards, traveling with friends, and also volunteered at Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf.
Mrs. Naylor is survived by her son, Dennis Naylor and his wife Donna of Mount Wolf; two grandchildren, Abby, and Craig and one great granddaughter, Thea. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Brenner.
Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Jason Northridge.
