Annamae Moyer

EMIGSVILLE – Annamae (Brosky) Moyer, 85, of Emigsville, passed away, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Autumn House West.  She was the wife of Stuart F. Moyer who she married 61 years ago on November 23, 1960.

Annamae was born December 14, 1936, in Scranton, PA and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Bochnak) Brosky.

She graduated from Scranton Central High School in 1954 and West Chester University in 1958 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education.  She taught Health and Physical Education for the West York School District.  She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Emigsville, PSEA, PASR, and NEA.  Annamae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother who loved her Lord Jesus, and enjoyed gardening, reading, music and being a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Stuart, Annamae is survived by her daughter, Constance Ann (Moyer) Forbes of Mechanicsburg, and her grandson, Alexander Forbes, of Hummelstown.  She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary Jane Brosky.

Services and burial for Mrs. Moyer will be private.  Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in York.  Officiating at her service will be her pastor, Reverend Richard Bowers.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
