Betty A. Davis 

DOVER – Betty A. Davis, 73, of Dover, passed away, Monday, February 17, 2025, at her home in Conewago Township, Dover, PA.  She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Paquette who passed March 23, 2008. 

Betty was born August 24, 1951, in Bedford, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Lois (Smith) Diehl.

She enjoyed cheerleading all through her high school years at Chestnut Ridge High School in New Pairs, PA.  She was a Den Mother to Cub Pack 5 in York and Taught upholstering at various places.  She was employed previously by Danskin in York before opening Betty Davis Interiors in Dover.

Betty is survived by her sons, Jeff Davis of Bedford, PA, and Kris Davis of Dover, PA, and her two granddaughters, Madison Davis of Peoria, AZ, and Hanna Davis of Las Vegas, NV.  Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert Diehl and Wayne Diehl. 

A Celebration of Life service for Betty will begin at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 08, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10:00 to 12:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.  Her burial will be private.  Officiating at her service will be Darryl K. MacPherson from Providence Presbyterian Church, York, PA.   A service is being planned at the V.F.W. in Bedford, PA and will be announced in the future.
