Blandine W. Schriver

YORK – Blandine W. (Morris) Schriver, 94, of York, passed away, Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Normandie Ridge in York. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Schriver who passed on January 14, 2010.

Mrs. Schriver was born June 29, 1928, in Harford County, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Clayton and Mabel (Burkins) Morris.

She graduated from Consolidated School of Business in York and was employed by Hochschild Kohn and Jacks for 22 years before retiring in 1993. She was a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, President of the Manchester Elementary School Parents Teacher’s Association, life member of the Manchester Elementary School Parent Teacher’s Association and Volunteered at York Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York.

Mrs. Schriver is survived by her daughter, Darlene Miller of York; her son, Rodney Schriver of Wilmington, NC; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and her brother, Shannon Morris of Wrightsville.  Mrs. Schriver was preceded in death by her sons, Lloyds Platts and Robert Schriver, Jr., and her brother, Richard Morris.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Schriver will begin at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
