YORK – Bonnie S. Elfner, 66, of York, passed away, Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York.

Bonnie was born June 7, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia and was the daughter of Gloria (Steffy) Elfner of York, PA and the late Glen W. Elfner.

She graduated in 1976 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA.  She was employed for over 30 years with Debbie’s Pizza in Manchester, PA.   She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her co-workers from Debbie’s Pizza and enjoyed playing Bingo and especially spending time with her family.  She was also a passionate sports fan and enjoyed following the Philadelphia Phillies.

She is survived by her brother, Scott and his wife Angie of Mount Wolf, PA, her sisters, Joyce Santiago of Mount Wolf, PA, Kay Elfner and her companion, Ray Orris of York, PA, and Beth Himmelright and her fiancé, Randy Lee of Mount Wolf, PA, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Diehl Funeral home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  Her visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.  Her burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery, Manchester, PA.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Laura Bair Baker from Starview United Church of Christ in Mount Wolf, PA.
