DOVER – Bonnie A. (Hake) Erb, 88, of York, formerly of Dover, passed away, Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Amoroso Wellness at York.  She was the wife of the late Curvin L. Erb, Sr., who passed away October 21, 2015.

Mrs. Erb was born May 16, 1936, in York and was the daughter of the late Earl and Agnes Marie (Boyd) Hake.

She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various nursing homes in the York area.  Previously, she was employed by Cole Steel, Sylvania and Danskins.

Mrs. Erb is survived by her daughters, Debbie Ort and her husband, Dave of Dillsburg, Karen Kennedy and her husband, Gene, of Mechanicsburg, and Tina Gembe and her husband, Jay of Dover; her sons, Larry Erb, and his wife, Jodi of Wellsville, Terry Erb and his wife, Wendy of York Haven, Gerald Erb of York Haven, and Timothy Erb of Millerstown; eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Curvin L. Erb, Jr., five grandchildren: her sister, Betty Ryan and her brothers, Earl Hake, Jr., Ronald Hake, Dwight Hake, and William Hake.

Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Redemption International Ministries, 2270 North Susquehanna Trail, York, PA.  Her viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the church.  Her burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry.  Officiating at her service will be Pastor Danny Haas.
