Brenda J. Landis
YORK – Brenda J. (Flohr) Landis, 82, of York, passed away, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Providence Place in Dover. She is the wife of Dale E. Landis who she married 64 years ago on March 15, 1959.
Mrs. Landis was born September 26, 1940, in York and was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Edna E. (Kessler) Flohr.
She graduated in 1958, from William Penn Senior High School in York. She was employed for over 20 years with Blue Dove in York, Jacks Department Store in York for 15 years and Talbots for 9 years before retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in York for over 64 years.
Mrs. Landis is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Landis-Hollander and her husband, Alan of York and, Stephanie Landis-Rohrbaugh and her husband Robert of York; four grandchildren, Kevin Hollander, Bethann Keiderling and her husband Andy, Mckenna Rohrbaugh and her fiancé Josh Heltzel and Hayley Rohrbaugh and her fiancé Jakob Hinson, and her two great grandchildren, Carson and Mallory Keiderling.
Her memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2023, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, PA. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Friday at the church. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating at her service will be Pastor Dale Parker. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
