Candice L. Wise

DOVER – Candice L. (Rose) Wise, 66, of Dover, passed away, Friday, December 30, 2022, at her home in Dover.  She was the wife of Dwight D. Wise, Jr., who she married 30 years ago on April 24, 1992.

Candice was born June 7, 1956, in Bedford, PA and is the daughter of Margaret (Wilson) Rose of Bedford, PA and the late Norman Rose.

She was employed by Metals U.S.A. in York.  Candice enjoyed Gardening, Hiking and above all, loving her family, grandchildren, and great grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Candice is survived by her daughter Laura D’Arca of Mechanicsburg, PA, and her son, Kenneth Miller of York; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; her sisters, Etta Graham of Bedford, PA and Susan Hyde of Dover, PA; and her brothers, Tom Rose of Pittsburgh, PA, David Rose, Norman Espy Rose, and Walter Rose all of Bedford.   She was preceded in death by her sister Norma Jean Rose.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home.   Officiating at her service will be Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.  A private service and burial will be in Bedford, PA.
