Charles Anthony Zito, Jr.

YORK – Charles Anthony Zito, Jr., 81, of York, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his daughter and son-in-law's home in Mount Wolf.  He was the former husband of Christina (Collins) Zito for over 30 years.

Charles was born April 19, 1942, in Bayonne, New Jersey and was the son of the late Charles A. Zito, Sr. and Augusta (Ribordy) Zito.

He graduated in 1960 from Leonia High School in Leonia, New Jersey and in 1966 from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He was employed by the accounting firm, Marsh McLennan, in the World Trade Center in New York, New York.  He was a longtime member of Bridgewater United Methodist Church in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

In addition to Christina, Charles is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Zito-Collins and her husband David of Mount Wolf, and Jessica Zito of Howell, NJ; three grandchildren, Collin, Ryan and Rhaelynn; his brother, Vincent Zito of Florida, and his nieces, Erica Zito and Lauren Conte.

A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 PM on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at John Rudy County Park, 400 Mundis Race Road, York, PA.  Iron horses are welcome and encouraged to escort his cremated remains home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
