Charlotte E. (Yost) Beshore

MANCHESTER – Charlotte E. (Yost) Beshore, 97 of Manchester passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village at Kelly Drive in York, PA.  She was the wife of the late Cecil J. Beshore, II, who passed away on December 13, 2005.

Mrs. Beshore was born December 27, 1927, in Spring Grove, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Elda (Myers) Yost.

She graduated from Glenville High School in Glenville, PA. and York Hospital School of Nursing in York, PA.  She was employed by Dr. Lewis Herrold and Dr. Warren Harrold.  She was a member of the York Hospital Auxiliary, Christ Lutheran Church in Manchester, PA where she was very active and taught Sunday School for many years and sang on the church choir.

Mrs. Beshore is survived by her daughter, Cyndy Kister and her husband Doug of Lewisburg, PA, her son, Greg Beshore and his wife Deb of Mount Wolf, PA; six grandchildren, Kim Burger, Todd Kister, Chad Kister, Renee Allingham, Daniel Beshore, and Alysse Smith; ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, C. John Beshore, and her grandson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pearl (Yost) Michael, and a brother, Terry Yost.

Funeral services and burial for Mrs. Beshore will be private.  Officiating at her services will be her pastor Reverend Beth Schlegel, STS from Christ Lutheran Church in Manchester, PA.  Burial will be in Manchester Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
