Clarence William Lehr
MANCHESTER – Clarence (Butch) William Lehr, born September 14, 1944, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Butch succumbed to injuries as a result of a pedestrian/auto incident on December 30, 2023.
Born in York County, he was the son of the late Ervin E. and Della L. (Moose) Lehr. He is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Bollinger) to whom he was married for 61 years, two daughters, Laurie (Kevin) Inch of Mount Wolf and Lisa (Greg) Rutter of Manchester, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters and their families, Dot Matheson, Marty Heath, Jane Simon, Nancy Bowman, Jean Ort and sister-in-law, Virginia Lehr. He was preceded in death by his son, Clarence W. Lehr, Jr. and his brother, Ervin E. Lehr, Jr.
He was a retiree of Local 520 Plumbers and Pipefitters. Butch was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time in Potter County. He was a life member of the Starview Sportsmen’s Association in Mount Wolf.
Butch’s funeral service and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
