Daniel W. Trimmer

YORK – Daniel Wayne Trimmer, 71, of York, passed away, Friday, January 26, 2024, at his home in Manchester Township.  He was the husband of the late Rose Mary (Schneider) Trimmer who died February 19, 2021.

Dan was born May 22, 1952, in York and was the son of the late Henry Trimmer and Dorothy (Trimmer) Heiner.

He worked for Harley Davidson for over 30 years before retiring.  He was a member of the Hawks Club, Shiloh American Legion, Post #791, Susquehanna V.F.W. Post #2493, Rooster Club, Liberty Club, Prince Club, and the 13th Ward Political Club.

Dan is survived by his daughters, Lisa Grim of Dover, Caryn Harlacher of York; three grandchildren, Drew, Rebecca, and Jonathan; two great grandchildren; his brother, Arthur Kinard of Dodge, NE; his sisters, Linda Miller of York, Joyce Moody of Thomasville, Janet Fishel of Thomasville, and Connie Senft of Waynesboro, PA, and beloved niece and care giver, Bobbie Sawyer.

His service and burial will be private.  His burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
