Darlene L. (Low) Brumbaugh

Manchester- Darlene L. Brumbaugh, 71 of Manchester, PA, passed away on October 2, 2026 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of George L. Brumbaugh for 47 years.

Darlene was born on September 23, 1955 in Wisconsin and was the daughter of the late Donald Low and Viola (Baker) Hanks.

In 1973 Darlene graduated from Mount Union Area High School and then attended York Vo-Tech where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential. She spent over 20 years in her profession. When she was younger she enjoyed riding horses. Darlene was a fan of Elvis and enjoyed crocheting, she was also an avid reader.

In addition to her husband, Darlene is survived by her daughters, Michele Brandt and her husband Darren of Portsmouth, VA., and Donna Reeves of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Melissa Nace, Jessica Miller, Tyler Brumbaugh, Christopher Reeves, Lucas Brandt, Cora Brandt, and Emily Brandt; multiple great and great great grandchildren; her brothers, Myron Low of Mount Union and Roy Low of Broad Top City; sisters, Marie Blanchard of New Cumberland and Donna Mitchell of Mapleton. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Brumbaugh; her brother, Boyd Low; and her sister, Shirley Garrison.

Services for Darlene will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc.
