David G. Roseman

LEWISBERRY - David G. Roseman, 75, of Lewisberry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at his home in Lewisberry.  David was the husband to K. Vivian (Lucas) Roseman who he married 53 years ago on September 11, 1971.

David was born May 8, 1949, in Johnstown, PA and was the son of the late Glen and Olive (Nozak) Roseman.

He graduated in 1967 from Conemaugh Township High School in Davidsville, PA and later from Clarion College and Shippensburg University.  He was a Special Education Teacher with West Shore School District for 42 years before retiring in 2017.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Holy Infant Catholic Church Council #10474, in Manchester and a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in New Cumberland.

David was a kind, compassionate family man who would do anything for anyone.  His favorite activities were being outdoors and attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities.

In addition to his wife, Vivian, David is survived by his two daughters, Jessica Hetherington and her husband Jaime of York Haven, PA and Dianna Roseman of Lewisberry, PA, five grandchildren, Lucas, Madison, Anna, Gareth, and Layton, and his brother, Dan Roseman of Nazareth, PA.  David was preceded in death by his son, David Lucas Roseman and his grandson, Andrew Roseman.

A private memorial mass will be held at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in New Cumberland, PA.  His burial will be private.  Officiating at his service will be his pastor, Father Jonathan Sawicki.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
