Delores E. Beshore
MOUNT WOLF – Delores E. (Murphy) Beshore, 91, passed away, Monday, September 19, 2022, at Providence Place in Dover. She was the wife of the late W. Herbert Beshore who passed away November 28, 2021.
Mrs. Beshore was born January 29, 1931, in East Manchester Township, PA and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Annie (Kohr) Murphy.
She graduated in 1948 from Manchester High School in Manchester. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf where she taught Sunday School, was member of several church committees and was a teacher’s aide for kindergarten.
Mrs. Beshore is survived by her daughters, Deborah Hoover and her husband Barry of Dover, Beverly Gross and her husband Craig of Dover, Michelle Stoner, and her husband Brian of Dover; her son, Timothy Beshore, and his wife Kim of Manchester; eight grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one great granddaughter on the way and her brother, Harold Murphy of York. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Viola Fritz, Alemena Morthland and Anna Heilman and her brothers, Leon Murphy, Charles Murphy, Stanley Murphy, and Frederick Murphy.
Her Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Mark Zortman.
