Dolores M. Bracht

YORK HAVEN – Dolores M. (Snyder) Bracht 92 of York Haven, PA, passed away, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital.  She was married for 54 years to Harold “Nig” J. Bracht, who passed away, September 20, 2006.

Mrs. Bracht was born July 13, 1932, in York, PA. and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Dora (Mumma) Snyder.

She graduated in 1950 from Manchester Senior High School in Manchester, PA. She was an active member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church in York Haven for over 50 years where she served as the church pianist and a current member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf, PA.

Mrs. Bracht is survived by her son, Stanley Bracht and his wife Sue of Ocean View, DE; 2 grandsons, Dave and his wife Hannah of Ocean View, DE and Tom and his wife Meg of Ocean View, DE; her two great granddaughters, Banks, and Isla, her two nieces, Nita Pierre of Goldsboro, PA, and Karen Sutton of NC, and her nephew Leslie Snyder of OH.  Mrs. Bracht was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie S. Snyder. 

She loved her family, especially her grandsons, her church and church family, fishing and the Phillies.

Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church, 28 North Third Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  Her viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Friday at the church.  Her burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York, PA.  Officiating at the service will be her pastor Reverend Jason Northridge.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
