YORK – Donald E. Loucks, 84, of York, passed away at 7:10 AM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Country Meadows on Trolley Road in York.  He was the husband of the late Rena M. (Swan) Loucks who passed away on March 4, 2005 and whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Donald was born January 10, 1937 in York and was the son of the late Russell and Anna (Miller) Loucks.

He graduated in 1954 from William Penn High School in York.  He was employed by Rutter’s Dairy for 42 years before retiring in 1996.  He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in York. 

Donald is survived by his three daughters, Debra Helwig and her husband Jeffrey of Dover, Julie Reisinger and her husband William of Dover and Karen Mosebrook and her husband Donald of Coopersburg, PA; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Cassandra, Michele and her husband Brian, Jacob and his wife Megan and Isaac and his girlfriend, Mary and 3 great grandchildren. 

His funeral service will be private.  Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.  Officiating at the service will be Reverend Roy Stetler from Quickel Lutheran Church in York.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
