Donna H. Nelson

MANCHESTER – Donna H. (Hanlon) Nelson, 78, of Manchester, passed away, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at her home in Manchester, PA.  She was the wife of James D. Nelson, II whom she married 59 years ago on October 9, 1965.

Donna was born November 14, 1946, in Lebanon, PA and was the daughter of the late Houston “Jack” and Frances (Wolfe) Hanlon.

She attended Annville Celona High School in Annville, PA.  Donna was employed and retired from Warrell Corporation in Camp Hill.   She was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church in Manchester, PA.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her daughter, Lori Diehl and her husband Jeffrey of York, PA, her son, James H. Nelson of Manchester, PA; two grandchildren, Brandon Nelson, and Katelyn Diehl; her sisters, Joan Liles of Annville, PA., and Sandra Handon of Hershey, PA, and her brother, Gerald Hanlon of Annville, PA.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Hanlon, and Karl Bishop.

A Memorial Mass for Donna will begin at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Holy Infant Catholic Church, 535 Conewago Creek Road, Manchester, PA.  Her visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:30 AM on Saturday at the church.  Her burial will be private in Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA.  Officiating at her service will be Father Dominic M. Eshikena, OP.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
