Doris Jane Reever

YORK – Doris Jane (Wilt) Reever, 89, of York, passed away, Monday, February 13, 2023, at Celebration Villa of York.  She was the wife of the late Irvin C. Reever who passed away July 13, 1999.

Mrs. Reever was born September 19, 1933, in York and was the daughter of the late Rodger and Lillie (Ely) Wilt.

She graduated in 1951 from Manchester High School in Manchester.  Mrs. Reever was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Manchester V.F.W. Post 7374, in York, Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf and the York 8/40 Salon #487.  She was a member the Shiloh American Legion Auxiliary Post#791, and Starview United Methodist Church (Starview) Mount Wolf. 

Mrs. Reever is survived by her daughters, Angela Keller and her husband, Joel of York, Lori Cover of York; her sons, Lonny Reever and his wife MarthaMarie of York, Rodger Reever and his wife Kathy of FL, and Terry Reever of York; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Alden Cover; her sister, Phyllis Heindel and her brothers, Russ Wilt, Donald Wilt, and James Wilt.

Her memorial service will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2023 at Starview United Methodist Church, 85 Codorus Furnace Road, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00, Monday at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Officiating at her service will be her pastor Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
