YORK – Dorothy Ann (Ahrens) Flinchbaugh, 81, of York, passed away, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at her home in York, PA.

Dorothy was born February 25, 1944, in York, PA and was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Seitz) Ahrens.

She graduated in 1962 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA.  She retired in 2008 from Georgia Pacific in Mount Wolf, PA after 35 years of service in the accounting department. She previously was employed by General Time Electronics and Bernhaven Sewing Factory in Mount Wolf, PA.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf, PA.

Dorothy is survived by her sister, Kathryn Toomey of Manchester, PA; nephews, Shawn Toomey and Keith Ahrens; her niece, Vicki Anderson, as well as other great nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law, Barb Ahrens.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward F. Ahrens.

Her graveside service will begin at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Manchester Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester, PA. Officiating at her service will be her pastor Reverend Jason Northridge from St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
