MOUNT WOLF – Duane D. McKinney-Berry, 51, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of Richard Berry of Mount Wolf whom he married February 22, 2018.

Duane was born August 29, 1970, in Hanover, Pennsylvania and was the son of James McKinney, II of Severn, MD and Sandra (Clabaugh) McKinney of Powhatan Point, OH

He graduated in 1988 from Littlestown High School in Littlestown, PA. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute of Harrisburg, PA. Previously he was employed for 23 years as the Office Manager for Tom James of Baltimore. Duane proudly served in the United States Army Reserves.

In addition to his husband and his parents, Duane is survived by his daughters, Monica McKinney of Manchester, Sarah Berry and Karley Berry both of Dillsburg; his maternal grandmother, Arlene Weaver of Hanover; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Shawn McKinney Ramsay.

A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial services will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Officiating at his service will be Reverend Laura Bair from Starview United Church of Christ in Mount Wolf.
