Emma R. Gutshall

YORK – Emma R. (Dorsey) Gutshall, 93, of York, formerly of Manchester, passed away, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at her residence at Autumn House in West York.  She was the wife of the late Jerome M. Gutshall who passed away December 12, 2019.

Mrs. Gutshall was born May 14, 1930, in Lancaster, PA and was the daughter of the late Millard G. and Margaret R. (Gerlitski) Dorsey.

She was employed for over 25 years at Cole Steel in York.   She was a member of Ambassador Bible Chapel in Manchester.

Mrs. Gutshall is survived by her daughter, Margaret M. Frey of York; her sons, Daniel Wolgamuth of Mount Wolf, and Ricky Wolgamuth and his wife, Kim of Manchester; four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Wolgamuth and her grandson, Travis L. Wolgamuth.

Her memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Her visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.  Officiating at the service will be Pastor David Slauterback.
