Eric Wayne Sherman

YORK – Eric Wayne Sherman, 54, born in York, PA., passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.  He was the son of Jerry Sherman and the late Jill (Wolf) Sherman. In addition to his father, he leaves, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He also leaves his best buddy, Bliss, his beloved cat. Eric was preceded in death by his sister, Lori Sherman Smeltzer.

Eric attended Northeastern High School and graduated from York County Vo-Tech in 1986. He was employed by Johnson Control for 32 years. You could find Eric in his garage working on his dune buggy, trucks, and tractors. He enjoyed fixing most anything.

A celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Eric and his mother, Jill, at Manchester Fire Hall, 201 York Street, Manchester, PA on Saturday, August 20, 2022, beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
