Esther L. Holler

MOUNT WOLF – Esther L. (Shellenberger) Holler, 102, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Monday, January 30, 2023, at York Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Clarence L. (Len) Holler who passed away, February 6, 2009.

Mrs. Holler was born March 7, 1920, in Manchester and was the daughter of the late Willis and Alverta (Holtzapple) Shellenberger.

She graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester.  She was a member of the Train Collectors Association and attended Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.  She enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles and drinking Coca-Cola.

Mrs. Holler is survived by her sons, Craig Holler and his wife, Beth of Mount Wolf and Brian Holler and his wife Phylaine of Mount Wolf; three grandchildren, Chad, Christy and Brianna and three great grandchildren, Rowan, Cooper and Greyson.  Mrs. Holler was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth, Naomi, Orpha, Martha, and Lizzie, and her brothers, Elwood and Junior.

Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 10, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery.  Officiating at the service will be Reverend James E. Winter, Sr.
