MANCHESTER - Evelyn E. (Holler) Craley, 98 of Manchester, formerly of Saginaw, passed away, Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her home in Manchester, PA. She was the wife of the late Richard J Craley who passed away April 21, 2007.

Evelyn was born March 16, 1927, in Mount Wolf, PA and was the daughter of the late Robert D.  and Ruth V. (Prowell) Holler.

She graduated in 1945 from Manchester Senior High School in Manchester, PA. She continued her education by graduating from Beauty School. She was a member of Saginaw Community Church in Saginaw.

A devoted mother to four children, Evelyn created a warm and welcoming home, always kept neat and tidy. For many years, she also ran her own business, ‘Evelyn Craley Beauty Shop’ out of her home, offering her talents and a listening ear to neighbors and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Laurie E. Winters of Manchester, PA, Christine M. Williams of Mechanicsburg, PA; her son, David M. Craley of Lewisberry, PA; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory R. Craley who passed away in 2016, a grief she bore with grace and unwavering faith.

Evelyn lived a long and full life, always placing her trust in the Lord. She was a woman of quiet strength and deep kindness. It was not uncommon to hear her softly singing hymns alone in her room, her faith woven into every part of her life. She had a heart for helping others and was always ready to lend a hand.

In Evelyn’s later years, she found joy in the simple things: going out to eat, reading books, solving puzzles, coloring beautifully detailed pictures, and keeping up with the latest photos of her family on her iPad.

Her life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will live on in our hearts. We take comfort knowing she is now at peace, resting in the eternal care of the Lord she trusted so faithfully throughout her life.

Services and burial for Evelyn will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
