Evelyn D. Yohe

Lemoyne – Evelyn Doris (Zurcher) Yohe, 95, of Lemoyne, passed away, Friday, June 10, 2022, at Thornwald Home in Carlisle. She was the wife of the late John W. F. Yohe who passed away April 23, 2010.

Mrs. Yohe was born April 17, 1927, in Monroe, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Christian and Martha (Ebnit) Zurcher.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene and a member of Newberrytown Church of God.

Mrs. Yohe is survived by her daughter, Olesa F. Yohe of New Cumberland; her son, Duane B. Yohe and his wife Joy of New Cumberland; five grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Sheena, Melanie, and Dria; several great grandchildren; her sister, Deloris Hirschy, and her brother, Merlin Zurcher. Mrs. Yohe was preceded in death by her daughter, Wava Myers; her sisters, Irene Sullivan, Berniece Davidson and Iva Williams and her brothers, Raymond Zurcher and Marvin Zurcher.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family by Pastor Jonathan Bowers.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
