YORK – Frances S. (Benyak) Pentz, 88, of York, passed away, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the home of her niece, Pam Duncan in Lancaster.

Frances was born April 2, 1935, in York and was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Achaj) Benyak.

She was employed by J. E. Baker Co., for 25 years prior to owning and operating her own computer Software Firm.  Her interests were traveling with her sisters, passing on family history, current events, and a huge heart for all creatures great and small.

Frances was survived by her brother, George Benyak and his wife Kim; her loving nieces, Pam Duncan and her wife Karen, and Andrea Benyak Thompson and her husband, Ed, and her nephews, Butch Duncan and his wife Jody, Steve Duncan, John Lemkelde, George Benyak, Jr., and his wife Kathy, and extended family of cousins, great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Duncan, and Mary Ann Lemkelde.

Services and burial for Frances will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
